The Burgundy Experience goes north!!!
It may be Dom Pérignon and Dom Ruinart who figured out how to make Champagne, but it is certain that the Trappist monks have brewed some of the best beers in the world for a long time. Other monasteries have followed suit and thus the “Abbey” beer was born.
Join us in Achouffe in the Belgian Ardennes for a week full of not only beer sampling, visiting breweries, and great foods, but also exploring the rich history of the region, the picturesque towns and larger cities, and of course Bastogne, a vestige of more recent history.
We are staying in a refurbished old school house that accommodates 12 guests, six rooms with “en-suite” wash-and bathrooms.
The weeks available are August 14 till August 21 and August 21 till August 28, 2020.
Price per double occupancy for one week: $ 5500.00 (flight and transportation not included).
Program includes all breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 reception and 4 dinners. Brewery visits and tickets to the war museum in Bastogne (and more) .
